Dear member
The PRS Members’ Fund provides financial help to members and former members of the Performing Right Society when they have financial problems. We help people who are unable to work because of illness, accidents or disability and we help those who may find things more difficult as they get older. We also support the immediate families of members and ex-members.
We have been helping songwriters and composers in times of crisis since the 1930s. But we are only able to do this thanks to your generosity. Please continue to support us.

How we make a difference
We can provide short-term crisis loans, offer regular grants and help with things like paying a TV licence, home insurance or replacing a fridge. And we fund annual holidays for members who receive regular assistance from us together with their spouses or partners. We have people known as Visitors who talk to members in their homes to assess their circumstances properly. And for older members who may need to move into sheltered housing then we have a partnership with Anchor Housing.
PRS Members’ Fund 75th anniversary
We are very excited that 2009 is our 75th anniversary. We think that 75 years of helping songwriters and composers in need is something to celebrate.
Details of our celebratory events will appear on this website so please check back soon.
